About the job Job Purpose Provide technical support for all rotating equipment, which includes design, detailed engineering, and field execution support to the Engineering Department and stake holders. Develop specifications for rotating mechanical equipment components for use in field and brownfield projects (both onshore and offshore) executed by the Engineering department. Review and approve the discipline documents for all onshore/offshore projects. Provide Field troubleshooting and support Field Engineering, Maintenance and other Field departments. Job Responsibilities Monitor lube oil and temperature for rotating equipment. Indicate and create all missing Mechanical Procedures to enhance the current set up. Provide Rotating Equipment related technical support with full responsibility and accountability Engineering Department and others in Dragon Oil. Participate in all aspects of Engineering works, during conceptual, design and execution stages, ensuring accuracy of information and integrity in compliance with the latest codes, standards and Company's requirements and procedures. Review and finalize the selection of rotating equipment in offshore and onshore plant. Review of Rotating Equipment Design & Design Calculations of various Brownfield and Greenfield Projects. Prepare Testing & Inspection plans for existing Rotating Equipment in the field. Develop and review all kinds of engineering deliverables such as Design Basis, Equipment Specifications, Mechanical Data sheets, Plot Plans, Equipment Lay out, GADs etc. Prepare design and in-house construction package for modification & debottlenecking projects. Prepare Technical clarification, Technical Evaluation Reports, Participate in FAT and SAT. Involve and work in rotating equipment and static equipment modifications and troubleshooting with technically accurate interpretations correct. Lead machine failure troubleshooting, failure analysis, reliability studies, commissioning and performance testing support for new and existing facilities. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering ASME certified engineer for inspection and approval of materials and vessels
