About the job Job Purpose To ensure the necessary marine assistance operating the DIVA workboat when required at the Aladja terminal area; assist the oil spill boat operation and the maintenance of the navigational aids of the Aladja channel. Job Responsibilities Ensure correct loading and unloading of the boat considering maximum loading capacity, proper distribution and security of the goods. Keep the boat clean and seaworthy and adequately fuelled at all times. Ensure safe parking at the assigned parking bay, or other areas during breaks and when not in use. Drive the boat at a reasonable speed according to the sea and weather conditions with consideration for the safety of passengers, other sea users, the load and the technical state of the boat. Ensure all necessary boat documents and safety gears are up-to-date and present in the boat.
