About the job Company Description Turkmenbashi International Seaport is currently looking for a Head of Marketing and Logistics Department to join their team. As one of the largest ports in the region, Turkmenbashi International Seaport boasts 17 million various cargoes per year, 150 hectares of total area, and the ability to cater to 17 ships simultaneously. The port also houses 42 Liebherr cranes and reloading equipment. The Head of Marketing and Logistics Department will be working in this exciting and rapidly growing international port, located in Turkmenbashy, which serves the needs of a diverse range of cargo. Role Description The Head of Marketing and Logistics Department is a full-time role in Turkmenbashy, and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the logistics and marketing departments within Turkmenbashi International Seaport. The Head of Marketing and Logistics Department will work closely with other departments at the port, and will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain, from marketing to shipping and logistics to customers. This is an on-site role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work with other team members to ensure that all deadlines are met, and the port operates smoothly. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, marketing or a relevant field 5+ years of experience in a logistics or marketing role, with at least 3 years in a senior management position Excellent communication skills and ability to manage and lead teams effectively Experience in supply chain management, logistics, and marketing within the international trade industry A strong understanding of international trade compliance policies and regulations, Familiarity with marketing strategies, including branding, advertising, and promotions Experience with logistics-related technology such as warehouse management systems, inventory management systems, and distribution management systems is preferred Fluent in English and Russian languages is mandatory, proficiency in other languages is preferred
