Turkmenistan’s transition to a market economy requires workforce development aimed at equipping the labor force with modern, market-matched skills and knowledge. Towards this goal, USAID’s Youth Development Activity will connect Turkmenistan youth (ages 15-25) with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and create sustainable linkages between training providers and the labor market. The activity will engage with three key stakeholder groups (youth, employers, and training providers) to understand and match skills-driven educational approaches to the current and future demands of the Turkmen economy. Overall Objective and Purpose As part of its goals and objectives, YDA is going to design and implement a training program on recruiting. The program will train participants in recruiting techniques, including such skills as resume review, conducting effective interviews, using AI in hiring process, soft skills for recruiters, automation of recruitment processes, etc. Upon completing the training program, the participants should be qualified enough to get internships and/or jobs with local companies. YDA will hire a short-term local consultant who will be tasked with organizing and implementing the above-mentioned work
