Role Description The Head of Marketing and Logistics Department is a full-time role in Turkmenbashy, and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the logistics and marketing departments within Turkmenbashi International Seaport. The Head of Marketing and Logistics Department will work closely with other departments at the port, and will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain, from marketing to shipping and logistics to customers. This is an on-site role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work with other team members to ensure that all deadlines are met, and the port operates smoothly. About the job Primary Duties & Responsibilities The project site is located in the southern municipal limits of Ashgabat on a 17.3 acre site situated on the junction of two roads, bound to the north by Archabil Avenue and to the east by Ataturk Street. The project was awarded to Caddell Construction Company in 2014 and ran into host Government permitting issues in 2016 when construction of the NOB was put on hold. The project was split into two Phases with the Warehouse, Marine Security Guard Residence, SPX, Staff Diplomatic Apartments (to include CMR and DCR), Service CAP and Housing CAP constructed as part of Phase 1 in 2020. Due to Host country COVID restrictions, final commissioning and accreditation of Phase 1 facilities was not completed until July 2023. In 2021, OBO awarded a modification to Caddell Construction Company for Phase 2 for construction of a 6 story New Office Building, two CAP's and site development. Final Permitting for the project is being finalized with anticipated construction start date of January 2024.
